OKY Computers began operations in 1987 as a wholesaler of high-quality computer parts and peripherals to resellers — one of the first local wholesalers in Boulder County. First-year revenues were close to $800K, and by 1992 had reached $2 million. With just two employees in 1987, OKY expanded to employ eleven people by 1992.

Productive Computer Solutions began operating in 1992 as a value-added reseller of computer systems. In 1993, PCS began to explore the growing need to provide network services and quality tech-support. This combination allowed first-year revenues to grow from 60K to 850K by 1996. In addition, PCS provided project support to several different companies thereby expanding their ability to provide a wider variety of services to their customers.

On January 1, 1996, PCS and OKY merged to become Productive Computer Solutions, a division of the OKY Technology Group, Inc. The new company began to focus on corporate sales, OEM sales and industrial equipment. Today this remains the main focus of our efforts as we constantly reevaluate our customers' needs.

In March 1999, Lloyd Brady and Darrin LeBlanc purchased PCS from the previous ownership group and changed the business model from a warehouse model to a BTO (Build to Order) model. PCS continues to offer its customers the same high quality of hardware and networking services they've become accustomed to. Today, PCS boasts annual revenues in the $2 - 3 Million range, and was named the 9th Fastest Growing Privately Held Company in 2003.
